You Can Own A Piece Of Florida Red Lobster Memorabilia
If Red Lobster has been a favorite restaurant of yours, you can own a piece of Florida Red Lobster memorabilia.
Yesterday it was announced that many Red Lobster locations will be closing not only around the state of Florida, but around the nation. We only have one Red Lobster location in Southwest Florida, right on 41 in Fort Myers, and that one appears to be staying open, at least for now. This news comes after rumors of bankruptcy began circling in the last few weeks. When I lived up north in Chicago, we used to go to Red Lobster all the time, but since moving to Florida, I find myself opting for more local options than chains. And especially with so many fresh seafood options available.
But if Red Lobster is a favorite of yours, or maybe you have a special memory from a Red Lobster like a birthday or an engagement, you can own a piece of Florida Red Lobster memorabilia.

After the news hit yesterday of Red lobster closures in Central Florida, it was announced that an internet auction company will be putting contents of Red Lobster restaurants up for sale. Now, it looks like, at least when clicking on the Orlando auction, that it’s “winner takes all”, meaning the entire contents of the restaurant. Which, I may want a light fixture, but I’m not sure I need a whole walk-in cooler/freezer system. You can take a look at the item by item list but there’s everything from bar stools to coffee makers to microwaves and food slicers.
It would make more sense for a future restaurant owner to come and take it to put it to good use. But hey, with brands like Victory, Middleby, Blodgett, Pitco, Traulsen, Hoshizaki and more it’s good stuff!
