Naples Florida Woman Unlawfully Enters Home, Hugs Resident, Then Jumps In The Pool
A Naples Florida woman is under arrest for making herself at home. Which would normally be fine except that it wasn’t her home – and the people inside had no idea who she was.
A 79-year-old City of Naples resident reported an unknown suspect unlawfully entered her residence while she was inside. The suspect, later identified as Natalie Lynn Slavek, entered the residence without permission and gave an unwanted hug to a resident. Slavek then made herself at home by sitting on a chair in the living room, rested on a bed for several minutes, then proceeded to jump in their pool, all before leaving the residence.
Natalie Lynn Slavek is a resident of Collier County and is currently on state probation for a 2020 offense of resisting an officer with violence. Slavek, who operates the social media company “Natalie Knows Naples”, didn’t ‘know’ the residents of the house she unlawfully entered and as a result was placed under arrest for trespassing in an occupied structure.
Not sure what the Naples Florida woman was thinking.
Maybe she was trying to make a video for her Tik Tok. The last video she posted was back in November. Gotta update that content. But at least she was friendly, which was probably why she got a trespass rather than home invasion charge. Big difference in jail time between those two. I think this whole thing comes down to hospitality.
If you’re going to walk into someone’s home, give them a hug, have a rest, then jump in the pool – don’t show up empty handed. I think if she’d have brought drinks this whole thing could have ended differently. Retirees down here do a lot of drinking. Then maybe this Naples Florida woman could have made friends, instead of witnesses.
Besides, Southwest Florida has plenty of other choices if you’re looking for a dip in the pool.
