What SWFL Is Talking About February 15th
The latest from Parkland Florida and the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School…17 killed…15 wounded. The gunman identified as 19 year old Nikolas Cruz, a former student at the school who had been expelled from the school for disciplinary reasons.
Investigators have been scouring Cruz’s digital presence and say that much of it is very, very disturbing.
Police said Cruz was armed with multiple magazines and at least one AR-15 style rifle. Yesterday’s incident was the 9th deadliest shooting in U.S. history.
In an ironic twist, Parkland was named Florida’s safest city last year.
Firefighters worked through the early morning to extinguish a blaze at a warehouse on Railroad Ave. No injuries and the cause of the fire is not known.
