Cape Coral Police arrested a man who was wanted for attempted murder out of Palm Beach. Charles Robinson was arrested by SWAT team members at a home on SE 39th Terrace. Police describe Robinson as a career criminal
The fire threat in Southwest Florida is still strong, and will probably remain strong even with this weekend’s predicted rain showers. Firefighters did what is called a “burnout” yesterday attempting to finally bring the fire under control. Roads in the area were closed and schools dismissed early while emergency responders work on the fire. The Greenway Fire has burned 17,000 acres and is 70% contained
