As he prepares to wrap up the final tour of an illustrious 60-year career in music, Paul Simon is also making it known that he'll be ending another part of that career... music writing.
Simon hasn't written a new song in a few years. He's recorded five studio albums with Art Garfunkel and made 14 solo albums. In an interview with NPR, Simon said: "Well I haven't written a new song in a couple of years, now. I think after [the 2016 album] Stranger To Stranger, a funny thing happened when I finished - I literally felt like a switch clicked and I said, 'I'm finished.'"
