Apple’s Newest Watch Can Only Monitor Your Heart in the U.S.

While you may be excited to buy Apples newest watch, you might be disappointed to learn something about one of its newest features.
The new electrocardiogram feature will only be available to Apple Watch users in the United States. So if you travel overseas, you are out of luck when it comes to monitoring your heart closely. The reason Apple designed it this way is because the FDA has given the green light to the feature but other countries will have to sign off on the technology Apple uses in the watch before you’ll be able to use it out of the country. The good news is the process that allows for the clearance of Apple’s technology in other countries is underway, but you’ll have to wait for now.
