Elton John and his husband David Furnish have won a libel case against published claims that their dog caused "Freddie Kruger-like' injuries on a child.

The British newspaper The Sun wrote a story about a woman who's 5-year-old kid was injured by John and Furnish's cocker-spaniel during a playdate. The newspaper apologized and said the claims were false. The Sun also agreed to pay damages and legal fees to John and Furnish.
