Former state representative Baxter Troutman was arrested for aggravated battery early Saturday morning after an altercation with his wife over a real estate purchase. This is Troutman’s 2nd arrest for battery involving his wife.

 

At yesterday’s Cape Coral City Council meeting, the council voted unanimously to postpone the hearing that will challenge the suspension of the Dixie Roadhouse’s permit to operate until 3am. That permit was revoked last month after video surfaced of brawls and drunken behavior outside the popular Cape nightspot. The suspension will remain in effect until the hearing takes place. No word on exactly when that might be.

The Bayshore Fire Chief has issued a stop work order at MW Horticulture in North Fort Myers. MW Horticulture has been ordered to stop bringing in new materials, because of continued fires and smoke at the site. The Fire Chief described the MW Horiculture site a “danger to the community.”
It’s Inauguration Day across Florida with our newly elected officials taking office….Both Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Rick Scott  will be part of  inauguration ceremonies today.

Does New Recording Prove Elvis Faked His Death?

  • Conspiracy theorists and fans of the late King of Rock N Roll, Elvis Presley claim that a new tape proves that he faked his own death.
  • In the new recording which was supposedly recorded four years after Elvis’ death, a man describes his life traveling all over the world in disguises and life on an island which he escaped to in a quest to avoid the pressures of fame.
  • Several people have claimed to have seen Elvis in the years since his death in 1977.
  • One conspiracy theory even claims that Elvis was spotted as a background actor in the 1990 film ‘Home Alone.’

 

Time Traveler Claims He Will Be Future President

  • Whoever decides to run for President in 2024 might be in for a big loss according to a man who claims he already has the race in the bag.
  • Self-proclaimed time traveler Michael Mcintosh claims that he worked alongside former US President Barack Obama on a top-secret time travel operation that will see him become President of the United States in 2024.
  • He also claimed that someone else is also lined up for the 2032 office position.
  • Michael claims that he was selected for the specific “chrono-vision” project because of his unique psychic abilities and that all will soon be revealed.
  • Michael also claimed that he had traveled to Mars at the age of five.

 

 

Chicken Tenders Cause Traffic Problems

  • An 18-wheeler crashed near the Alabama-Georgia state line on Sunday spilling boxes of chicken tenders on the highway.
  • Drivers stopped to pick up the chicken boxes. That caused a traffic hazard in the area.
  • Authorities in Cherokee County, Alabama posted a notice on Facebook warning people not to eat the chicken. The food was not safe to eat after being on the ground for a long time.
