Police are continuing to investigate the hit and run death of 8 year old Layla Aiken who was killed yesterday morning while waiting at her bus stop near the corner of NE 3rd Ave and NE 19th Terrace in Cape Coral. Police believe a red pickup may have been involved in the crash.

Police have arrested 25 year old Steven Telgenhof at his home in Cape Coral, after serving a warrant and discovering several grams of fentanyl. Police also seized cash and marijuana. He's been released on bond.

Charlotte County police have arrested 41 year old Timothy Rice after he was accused of inappropriately touching several girls at a local pool. Based on the complaints, Rice was arrested and booked on charges of loitering in close proximity to children. Rice is a known sexual predator and there have been similar complaints lodged against hi at parks in other parts of the state.

Monday's "Tonight Show" Was Filmed Entirely On A Smartphone

Monday night's episode of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show will mark a first for the long-running late-night series - it was shot entirely using a smartphone.
Specifically, it was shot with the new Samsung Galaxy S10+, which boasts an ultra-wide camera lens. As part of a promotional deal with Samsung, Monday's episode was filmed entirely with the phone.
It will also be very different from a typical Tonight Show episode, ditching the studio and following Fallon, The Roots, and announcer Steve Higgins to a number of different NYC locations. MMA star Conor McGregor will also make an appearance.

After 56 Years Together, Couple Dies Just Hours Apart

In a story that's both heartbreaking and touching, a Michigan couple who'd been married for 56 years died just hours apart.
Southgate residents Judy and Will Webb, both 77, were admitted to a hospice facility last month following a series of health issues. Shortly before they died, they requested that their beds be pushed together so they could hold hands, their daughter MaryBeth Webb says.
"When my dad died, my mom just kind of -- she wasn't responsive at all, verbally -- but you could see her pick up her hand and she was rubbing my dad's hand like, 'I'll be there soon,'" Webb says, noting that her parents began dating when they were 14 years old. "They didn't want to live without each other."
