Police have arrested a 12 year old Lehigh Acres boy for his part in an attempted kidnapping and robbery. Police say 12 year old Pedro Murphy allegedly lured a pizza delivery woman to a house, holding her against her will and then ransacking her automobile. A second accomplice is still at large. Murphy has been charged with unarmed robbery, unarmed burglary and kidnapping.
Three teens have been arrested and are facing gun charges after one student was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm on school property, while two other are accused of helping sell the gun on social media. This all happened at Clewiston High School.
Cape police arrested 37 year old Jason McGee after they say he allegedly put his two children in a choke hold after one of the children broke a Play Station console. McGee is facing two counts of child abuse, resisting arrest and assault charges.
Fire crews had to respond to a trailer fire last night in North Fort Myers. There was a box of live ammunition that ignited during the fire. No one was hurt. The investigation is continuing.
