Charlotte County Deputies were on scene at a domestic dispute on McKinley Terrace in Englewood last night when shots were fired. One person was killed. There were no deputies injured. NBC-2 also reporting a body was pulled from a lake on Wildwood Lakes Blvd at the Briar Landings Apartment Complex in Naples shortly after midnight. No further information is available.

Jorge Deleon Galindez, has been arrested for burglary with assault or battery, after police say he broke into his neighbors home, and laid on top of her while she slept in her bedroom.Galindez fled the scene after the woman screamed. He was arrested at his home a short time later.

Scammers pretending to be with the Fort Myers Police Department are calling SW Floridians and scamming them out of their money, The FMPD sent out a warning yesterday that the scammers are calling people and claiming that they owe the city money for overdue fines or fees. If you receive a call like this, hang up and call FMPD immediately.

Jealous Assistant Accused of Leaking Mariah Carey’s Medical Records to the Press

Mariah Carey’s former assistant, Lianna Azarian is accused of leaking Carey’s medical records and personal records to the Daily Mail.
Carey’s lawyer filed documents on Monday regarding the Daily Mailarticles claiming Carey spent $10,000 on butt injections and $273,000 on a two-day designer bender on Christmas Eve in Colorado in 2016, both transactions that Azarian says was charged on her American Express card.
Carey wants $5 million in damages for Azarian breaching her confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement, the singer says in the complaint that the assistant was “Unsatisfied with her extraordinary compensation, access, and lifestyle, Azarian sought to grow her wealth by robbing Carey of her privacy.”

Pizza Hut is riding the wave of nostalgia.
The restaurant in returning to their old logo. You will see it in commercials and on the pizza box soon.
The throwback logo reportedly tested well with diners. The classic Pizza Hut restaurants ranked high as well – You know, the red roofs and the checkered table cloths.
A lot of retailers are cashing in on nostalgia and Pizza Hut is just the latest.

A study from the University of Nottingham suggests drinking a cup of joe could activate fat-fighters inside your body.
Coffee might help stimulate the brown fat cells that help us burn calories faster.
The research is still in the early stages because only nine people took part in the study.

Survey: 1 in 3 Women Accept Dates for Free Meals

If you’re a man who’s scored a date with a beautiful woman, don’t let your ego get too out of control; there’s a chance she’s just after a free meal.
That’s according to the results of two new surveys, both of which reveal one out of three single women goes out on dates only to be wined and dined. Conducted by researchers at Azusa Pacific University and UC Merced, researchers asked women if they’re ever guilty of engaging in “foodie calls.” Approximately 33 percent admitted to doing so.
Researchers also found the same women who answered “yes” to the question also displayed higher-than-normal narcissistic personality traits.
