They Want Me To Keep My House Temperature At WHAT?

Energy Star, a federal program from the EPA, is recommending that we turn our A/C up at home. You won’t believe what they’re recommending.
The report suggests you keep your home at 78 degrees when you’re there. Warm enough? Wait… it gets better!
This report also suggests to bump the A/C up to 82 while you sleep. Sound like a comfortable temperature for sleeping? No, we didn’t think so either.
Also, for when you’re not home, bump the A/C to 85. 85 degrees!! Unless you’re keeping reptiles as pets, 85 may be a little on the warm side.
I am guessing that none of these folks live in SWFL.
