An Egg A Day Isn’t Bad For Your Heart, Says Study
If health concerns have you skipping eggs at breakfast, you can now reconsider.
According to a new study published in the journal The BMJ, there really isn’t any evidence that eating an egg a day ups your risk of cardiovascular disease.
Lead author Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier, Professor at Laval University in Canada, reveals researchers could not find “an appreciable association between moderate egg consumption and cardiovascular disease.”
And the sample wasn’t small either; setting the baseline with 173,563 women and 90,214 men participating, who were all free of CVD, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.
