Life after football will apparently lead Rob Gronkowski to the squared circle, as the 30-year-old is close to a deal to join World Wrestling Entertainment, as first reported by pro wrestling insider Ryan Satin on FOX's "WWE Backstage."
According to Satin's report, it is currently unclear what the 6-foot-6 Gronkowski will do with the company upon signing should a deal between the sides become finalized. But he did note that Gronkowski, who announced his retirement from football in Mar. 2019, could appear on WWE programming as early as the Mar. 20 episode of WWE Smackdown on FOX.
