Publix To Cut Store Hours Starting Saturday Due To Coronavirus
Florida’s favorite grocery store, Publix announced via Twitter Friday night that they will be making changes to their store hours due to the coronavirus.
Starting Saturday, the Florida-based grocery chain said stores will close at 8 p.m. until further notice.
To better serve our customers, give our store teams time to conduct additional preventive sanitation and restock product on our shelves, beginning Saturday, March 14 we will adjust store and pharmacy hours companywide to close at 8 p.m. until further notice. pic.twitter.com/Lc0jRLtZwh

The company said in a written statement that this will allow them to “better serve our customers, give our store teams time to conduct additional preventive sanitation and restock product on shelves.”
