Miami Man Buys Lamborghini After His Business Got $4 million in COVID-19 Relief Loans
The dude that did this may be a total tool, but he does have good taste. The actual car is a bright blue Lamborghini Huracan Evo. $318,497. It comes with Alexa. Don’t have one? It kinda looks like this:
Anyways, David T Hines bought the Lambo with funds from a federal loan to protect the payroll of employees. The government loan is administered by the Small Business Administration and comes with restrictions on what you’re allowed to do with it. It’s main purpose was to keep employees on payroll. Not this.
And the money that was intended to help him make payroll at his South Florida moving company? Well, the car, plus of course, jewelry and clothing as well as reservations at high-end Miami Beach hotels such as the Fontainebleau and Setai.
Hines faces charges of fraud. He was granted a $100,000 bond and will be allowed to stay at his mother’s home with a GPS monitor.
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting to see if I’m gonna get another one of those $1,200 checks.
It’s really a wonderful car, and if you can legally afford one, I highly recommend.
