Well, ever since Paramount Studios dropped their trailer for the upcoming live-action movie Clifford the Big Red Dog, folks have been similarly freaked out.
People seem to be more frightened of the furry beast, giving too much of an accurate representation of what Clifford would be like in the real world.
The plot centers around middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) who meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy. She never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure and, of course, hijinks ensue.
