While performing an inventory of baby sea turtles last Wednesday, a patrol group with volunteers discovered a genetic mutation. A two-headed sea turtle.
At Edisto Beach State Park in South Carolina while conducting an inventory of eggs and hatchlings, the patrol found three live Loggerhead turtle hatchlings still in the chamber and were amazed to discover that one of the babies had two heads. So - does that count as two?

After taking a few photos, the hatchlings, including the one with two heads, were released into the ocean.

So, down the road a few years, it's entirely possible that someone may run across a two-headed adult sea turtle? Maybe if there's another Finding Nemo sequel a two headed turtle could help out?
