Fresh “Cut” Flowers Are A Fabulous Find
These fresh “cut” flowers are a fabulous find. I love fresh flowers. They make me happy. I always try to keep some in my home but it is inevitable. They will die. And sometimes on their way out, they not only stink, but they also make a mess. I have friends who place fake flowers around their home. Some of them actually look so good you would swear they are real. But most of of them don’t.
I was intrigued when I got an email over the holidays about FreshCut Paper. The had all kinds of holiday looking bouquets, several of which caught my eye.
This company makes paper flowers and they are adorable. Even though they use paper for their product, their mission is one of nurturing the environment. The company plants a tree for every product sold. They also donate a portion of each sale to the Planet. Finally, they claim the carbon footprint of these paper flowers is a small one compared to that of an imported bouquet of real flowers. Nearly 300 times smaller in fact.
They come in folded up in a flat, oversized envelope. It looks like an album cover. Unlike those fake silk flowers that people try to pass off as real, you know in an instance these are not real and not imposters trying to pass as real flowers. They are their own unique style. They come in all kinds of colors and styles. I loved these Sunflowers for the Sunny 106.3 studio. As you can see, the color scheme leans heavily toward yellow already. Perfect! Sunflowers are amazingly happy flowers and some days, you just need that. Even if you do love coming to work.
While there is nothing quite like a bouquet of fresh flowers, these fresh “cut” flowers are a fabulous find.
