I’ve had so much fun being at three Chicken Salad Chick grand opening celebrations in Southwest Florida over the last couple of months. Today was the final one and it was awesome. This location is on Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte and the community was super excited to welcome their new restaurant
I can’t believe I did not get photos of the food. I ALWAYS take food photos. Thanks to Priority Marketing for giving me a few below. However, I got lots of the crowd and more . When we arrived, the line was literally stretched around the building.
This is a fast casual restaurant dedicated the Southern classic, chicken salad. But it’s definitely not a one-size fits all food item. Here, you’ll find all kinds of salads.
Yep, spicy chicken salad and they are great. There are sweet versions, savory versions (some have bacon) and the classics. The menu has other Southern goodies and everything is made fresh. Nothing is frozen or pre-packaged for those of us wanting to fresher food with less additives and preservatives. In addition, freshness. It’s good stuff.
The first Southwest Florida location is at Dani Drive in Fort Myers. It’s close to i-75 just off of Colonial Blvd. The second one to open, just before the holidays, is on Corkscrew Road in Estero. This one is also close to the interstate, on the west side.
