Some of my one year anniversary party photos are up. WOW what a party it was Monday night at LYNQ in Fort Myers. Thank you to the staff at LYNQ who went above and beyond to take care of us. From the cocktails and Porter Pops, to the food and everything in between. Melissa Jensen is a great hostess and owner Chris Whitaker has a long history in the restaurant scene of Southwest Florida. They know how to have a good time.
Big thank you to Norman Love Confections for providing beautiful chocolates for everyone who attended. I’ve been both a fan and friend of Norman’s for years and am very grateful for his support. I’m even more grateful to have gone home with a box, or two, of his delicious chocolates.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with me. My heart was and still is overflowing. First, the Beasley Broadcasting staff who have welcomed me with open arms. They have given me a new space to spread my wings and I’m truly grateful for that. Thank you again for coming out to celebrate with me.
Then the Sunny 106.3 listeners who showed up to raise a glass with me. My success is because of you. When I took a break from radio, I didn’t realize how much I missed connecting with you on a daily basis. I love hearing your stories, I love that you listen to mine (well some of them) and I love spending my mornings with you. Words can not express how humbled and how grateful I am that you took time out of your busy schedules to celebrate this milestone with me. I made it one year, God willing, my key card still works and I’ll make it for many more.
