Why stay in the cold weather up north when you can remote work in the warmth of Southwest Florida.

Florida is always a top holiday destination. It’s also been popular for workers looking to escape the cold but still find a way to stay on the clock. In fact, seven Florida cities made the top 15 on this list. Not only that, one of those cities also has the top spot. Number one. When coming up with the rankings, researchers looked at the number of restaurants and co-working spaces. They also considered leisure venues and costs.

Where does Fort Myers rank for remote workers

The City of Palms comes in at #11 on the list. I’m guessing the list was composed prior to Hurricane Ian because one of the factors listed is the large stretch of barrier islands our area is known and loved for. Unfortunately, those islands are now mostly closed for business as usual. Hurricane recovery is fast and furiously underway.

However, other reasons the city was listed are still quite valid. They include affordability when compared to many other Florida destinations. In addition, the large number of holiday activities that the area boasts. They include everything from light displays, to charity events and boat parades. Southwest Floridians definitely know how to celebrate the holidays. Hurricane Ian or not.

Fort Myers a top holiday destinations for remote workers. However, the City of Palms fell just underneath these top ten destinations.
