First of all, don’t panic at this news. However, there are only two more weekends left before Christmas. This is one of them. Family and friends might be coming into town, so it helps to know what activities are taking place to entertain them. Not to mention entertain yourself.
What is happening in Southwest Florida for the holidays
Numerous holiday events are going on throughout the rest of the holiday season. Light Up The Nights is a big light display at Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda. The Edison and Fort Winter Estates in Fort Myers hosts the annual Holiday Nights. The grounds and historic homes are decorated to the hilt. In Naples, Third Street South has nightly celebrations with music and entertainment. In addition, almost every major shopping center in the area has music, displays, Santa and other fun activities, besides shopping that is.
Many events have been reimagined due to Hurricane Ian. Even some that are still listed on various calendars have changed so it never hurts to call ahead or check social media sites for updates.
