Katy Perry’s ‘Small Talk’ Video Stars Her Adorable Dog Competing For Best In Show
Safe to say, Katy Perry’s video for “Small Talk” stars some very good dogs. This includes Perry’s own pup Miss Nugget. The pop star teased that her latest video is really Miss Nugget’s biopic, which shows her going from mutt to “best in show” with a little help from her overzealous owner.
The always punny Perry (her cat’s name is Kitty Purry, BTW) has her teacup poodle competing in the Mutt Ball. “Which dog will have the biggest trans-fur-mation? Who will be our diamond in the ruff? The theme is TRAMP not CAMP,” Perry teased on Instagram about this dog-filled competition in which Miss Nugget is the obvious star. Though, one could argue that Perry and Miss Nugget’s matching outfits are the real winners of this clip.
In fact, all the dogs in the video look a whole lot like their owners, who aren’t all that interested in making small talk. They’re just here to win. Though, Perry might be there for a little something more—whether Nugget likes it or not.
