How Bon Jovi is Involved with Water Conservation Efforts in the U.K.
Bon Jovi and one of their most popular songs will hopefully help water conservation efforts in parts of the U.K.
According to The Mirror, the U.K. is experiencing a lack of rain and a heat wave, which has led to some reservoirs reaching their lowest levels in decades. This has led to Yorkshire Water, a water supply and treatment utility in England, to recommend reducing time in the shower by one minute in the hopes people will only take four-minute showers.
So, how is Yorkshire Water helping people do this? They recommend people sing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer,” which clocks in at 4:09, while in the shower.
If Bon Jovi isn’t your favorite, Yorkshire has you covered! They curated a playlist filled with four-minute songs that include tracks from Coldplay, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Oasis, Spice Girls and more. (Honestly, the playlist also serves as a fun listen, too, even if you’re not in the shower.)
