Sunseeker Resort Job Fair Today In Punta Gorda
The new Sunseeker Resort is scheduled to open in Charlotte Harbor this October (2023). It’s one of the newest additions to the Southwest Florida tourism market and the massive resort needs a massive number of employees. If you are looking for a new place to land, here is some information about a Sunseeker Resort job fair today in Punta Gorda.
About the Sunseeker Resort
Sunseeker is a 785-room luxury, waterfront resort that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allegiant Travel Company. The sprawling resort covers 22 acres. Features include 189 Signature Sunsuites, a spa, golf, retail, dining and more.
House keeping is one department hiring at the Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor
More than 1200 jobs need to be filled including housekeeping, food and beverage and more. The resort is offering a lucrative bonus package as an incentive. It’s a six-figure retention bonus. First, get hired in the opening phases, Next, stay with the company for ten years. Then you are eligible for a $100,000 bonus.
Those eligible for the bonus include full-time hourly or select entry-level salaried employees. Here is the catch, and it’s not a big one. You must be hired by Sunseeker Resort before it opens, or within the first 30 days of the opening. Next, stay with the resort for ten years and you’re in. Payments are annual installment payments of $10,000 a year for 10 years.
There is more. Full-time employee benefit also include free flights with Allegiant Air. In addition, Benefits also include retirement, dental, medical, and vision plans.
Today’s career fair is at Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. It’s located at 75 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda. Hours are 4pm to 7pm. If you can’t make it Monday, don’t worry. There are three job fairs. Here they are.
- Saturday, July 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Saturday, August 19, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Monday, August 28, 4 – 7 p.m.
