Alamo Drafthouse Coming To Naples Early Next Year
With the closing of Silverspot Cinema in Naples comes the announcement of Alamo Drafthouse opening early next year.
Silverspot Cinema at Mercato in Naples closed this week after 14 years in business. You may have wondered what will occupy that space with the shuttering of the theater. But wonder no more, as Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has announced an opening in early 2024. The Austin, TX-based company currently has 39 locations and expanding rapidly with a new location soon to come in Southwest Florida.
Because Silverspot offered not only movies, but also food & drinks, the foundation is there. But, according to a press release, Alamo Drafthouse has plans to upgrade to premium, reclining leather seats and revamp the bar. Alamo Drafthouse will feature scratch-made food delivered right to your seat. Menu items include pizza, sandwiches, salads and a variety of appetizers. They’ll also feature local beers and craft cocktails. They also have a No Talking/No Texting policy that will allow guests to watch movies free from distractions. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will also host fun events like interactive movie parties, brunch screenings, live Q&A events and more.
