Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Bucs: Odds & How to Watch
We’re in new territory for the Detroit Lions, friends. The Motor City is heading into the NFL playoff divisional round and will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday (Jan. 21) at Ford Field. For the Bucs, it’s a more familiar territory. After all, they won a Super Bowl with Tom Brady. Here’s our Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Bucs preview, including odds and how to watch the game.
How to watch:
The Detroit Lions will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field in the Divisional Round of the playoffs on Sunday (Jan. 21). Kickoff is at 3 p.m. ET at Ford Field. This will actually be a rematch of this season’s Week 6 game, where the Lions won 20-6 in Tampa. But, don’t let that get you too comfy. The Bucs are a different team right now, and Baker Mayfield is on fire. You can catch the game on TV on NBC, Peacock and Universo. You can also stream the game on Peacock and FuboTV.
Odds for Lions vs. Buccaneers:
The Lions are currently favorites to beat the Buccaneers, according to the BetMGM NFL odds. Looking to wager? As of early in the week, the spread is Lions (-6); money line is Lions (-275) and Buccaneers (+210); and the over/under is 48.5. While most of the NFL experts have yet to make their official predictions, Dimers.com states that, “Our popular predictive analytics model gives the Lions a 70% chance of beating the Buccaneers, and our predicted final score has the Lions winning 27-21.” They add that, the Buccaneers have a “53% chance of covering the spread.”
This weekend also has three other fantastic playoff games lined up. The Houston Texans will head to Baltimore to play the Ravens. The Kansas City Chiefs will go to Buffalo to take on the Buffalo Bills. Also, the Green Bay Packers go up against the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco.
