At Sunny 106.3, we love our monthly visits from the Gulf Coast Humane Society in Fort Myers. And today was no exception. Wow what a gal Executive Director Gary Willoughby picked out for today’s Pet Of The Month. Take a look and please help adopt this sweet dog, Peanut. We want to get her out of the shelter and find her a new home in Southwest Florida.
About this sweet dog, Peanut
Peanut is a Cur/Hound mix. She came to the Humane Society about a month ago from Labelle. Peanut currently weighs a solid 57 pounds and is indeed a solid dog. She is three years old and in her prime. It’s nice to have a dog that is past that puppy stage for house training and chewing. The dog is also good in a kennel, bonus. In addition, and perhaps even better if you are a girl or guy on the go, she is good in the car for your road trips and adventures. She does have a lot of energy and is good with kids and other pets. So far, Peanut is looking pretty good for adoption.
The best way to find out about this dog and all of the other dogs and cats up for adoption is to visit the Gulf Coast Humane Society’s website by clicking here. They have photos, bios and all kinds of information. Next, stop by and meet the animals you are interested in. Finally, if you have other animals in your household, it is recommended you bring them along. The shelter has areas for you to introduce them to their possible new friend to make sure they get along.
Help adopt this sweet dog, Peanut. Everyone at the station loved her. Now we need to help her find a forever home. Here are some photos to melt your heart.
