Meet Shyla, this dog needs a home. has been at the Gulf Coast Humane Society for only a few days. She was accompanied by Gary Willoughby who could not gush enough about this dog.
Shyla is a mixed breed. She is about 2 years old and weighs 37 pounds. Not too big, not too small, just right. She is super friendly, loves giving kisses, shaking hands and attention in general. She has lots of energy. Shyla loves people. She loves them so much, in fact, that is what got her into trouble, not in a bad way. The dog scaled a fence to get to the fun outside when left alone in her yard. She has FOMO, fear of missing out. Did not want to miss the party on the other side. I can relate.
If it is time for you to add a fury friend to your household, consider Shyla. Call the humane society and arrange a visit. If Shyla is not the one, keep looking. The kennels are full and we want to help clear them out so they can be renovated
I will be broadcasting live at Gulf Coast Humane Society on Saturday January 28th to ring in the New Year with some new furry friends. Please stop by. Sunny 106.3 and Achieva Credit Union are covering adoption fees that day.
An update from Penelope’s visit last week. She is still at the shelter. Two families met her this week but have not decided yet whether she is their forever pet. Another great dog. Click below to see her photos.
