Are you ready to fall in love? Meet Honey Bunny. She is the new Sunny Pet Of The Month and we need your help finding her a home. Honey Bunny currently resides at the Gulf Coast Humane Society in Fort Myers. She is a new arrival but likely wont be there long.
Honey Bunny is a 2-year-old Chiweenie. What the heck is a Chiweenie? It’s a Chihuahua Dachshund mix. I learned something new today. She has the long body of a Dachshund and the petit face of a Chihuahua, Honey Bun’s temperament is also a little more like a Dachshund.
About The New Sunny Pet Of The Month
At first, she may be a bit shy and reserved, but don’t let that fool you. She has a lot of spunk. The minute you start talking to her in a soft gentle voice, she melts like butter and is super affectionate. She’ll even climb up on your lap and nestle in. It was hard for me to go back to work with this bundle of love in the studio.
We got to see her playful side after she got comfortable in the studio. She enjoys a good walk, playing, and having her back scratched.
The dog is small and good for apartments. She is two-years old an out of the puppy phase. Honey Bun is also house broken. She lived in a home with another dog before being surrendered so is good with other animals, although it is recommend to introduce any current pets to ones you are thinking about adopting just to make sure.
Another plus about the new Sunny Pet Of The Month, she is up-to-date on shots, is micro-chipped, and spayed. She is ready to go to a nice home and would make a fantastic pet for someone.
