2 Florida Hotels Are Among The Best To Open This Spring
Spring break is officially behind us for the year, and for some cities it was a chance to showcase new establishments. Fifty Grande recently detailed the best new hotels to open this spring, and two Florida places made the list.
Now, “The hottest new American hotels of spring are ready to make your summer getaway actually happen,” they explain.
As someone who has often traveled during the spring, I believe certain hotel qualities seem to be of the utmost importance for this particular season. Of course, where you are going factors into the decision-making of where to stay, but I tend to always be in search of the highest-value hotel experience as opposed to simply the cheapest.
For example, on a recent trip when the kids were out of school, we opted for a larger hotel with more capacity. Given they were not sold out, this allowed for the potential to have more quiet floors. In addition, it had an indoor pool and sprawling breakfast buffet that came with the nightly reservation.
There were more expensive and newer hotel options closer to the main attractions, and there were also cheaper nightly options where meals were not included.
Looking at the overall plan for the trip helped decide which hotel would be the most accommodating. With all sorts of new hotels opening across the country, having options provides the opportunity to have choices. Furthermore, it’s a great sign about the state of the travel industry.
There are certainly those who explore adventures and specifically seek a new hotel to stay at. Whether it’s due to cleanliness or being an enthusiast of the hotel type, there is certainly a thrill to staying in a newly opened hotel.
The Best New Hotels In Florida Are Both In Orlando
This spring, both the Hotel Landy and the Aloft Orlando Lake Nona were open. Each hotes offers completely different ways to for travelers to enjoy the area.
The Hotel Landy is at 7800 Universal Boulevard. “As an official Universal Partner Hotel, guests of Hotel Landy will soon have access to a complimentary shuttle service directly to Universal CityWalk, offering access to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay,” Hotel Landy says. So, it is at the heart of the action. Rooms at Hotel Landy now start at just $112 per night.
Then, located at 7215 Corner Drive, The Aloft Orlando is more lakeside. “As the closest hotel to the USTA (United States Tennis Association) National Campus, this Aloft takes full advantage of its proximity, offering one-on-one and group training sessions with USTA pros,” Fifty Grande points out. Currently, rooms start here at $215 per night.
Regardless of your intent for your next trip to Orlando, you have two of the best new hotels in the country to choose from.
