Kyle Ulbrich Still Camping Outside Miami Dolphins Facility
Kyle Ulbrich has now entered day 3 of his campout outside the Miami Dolphins team facility. Kyle wants a chance in the NFL and he’s hoping the Miami Dolphins will give him that chance. Oh, and he’s made signs. Here’s the update from his Twitter account:
“Day 3! Just need an opportunity to prove my worth. Im not out here as a PR stunt or to be in any realm of the ‘spotlight’. All other ways of getting to the next level have put me back to the same pecking order I started. This time I am going all in on myself.”
The Kyle Ulbrich Journey
Kyle was a punter for the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders and had a pretty impressive college career. He had 67 punts go over 50 yards and placed 73 punts inside the 20 yard line. Also, as you can see in the picture, he does just fine at holding for field goals and extra points. Now he wants an opportunity to prove what he can do in the NFL. He’s on his third day outside the Miami Dolphins facility, hoping for just that. And he’s made signs.
What Kyle Ulbrich Is Up Against
The Miami Dolphins have Jake Bailey on their roster and they just signed him to a two year deal worth $4.2 million. Bailey was named to the 2020 AP All-Pro first team at punter, but his 2022 season with the Patriots was cut short with a back injury and they later released him. If Bailey can put together a decent camp and stay healthy, it’s unlikely the Ulbrich will get a shot. But if something should happen to go awry in training camp, Ulbrich looks ready. He’s certainly confident.
“When I land on a team I can almost guarantee an all-pro season”.
