The holidays can definitely be expensive, so having some extra money would be nice and a Florida Publix sold a $1 million Powerball ticket.
Winning the lottery any time would be great, but especially around the holidays, tell me that wouldn’t be some amazing Christmas magic. We all know this time of year can get expensive. From buying food for your Thanksgiving feast, to holiday air travel and of course, gift giving. And while I don’t know anyone who spends $1 million on Christmas gifts, this year one lucky person could if they wanted to. They hit it big on the Powerball on a ticket sold at a Florida Publix.
Florida Publix Sold A $1 Million Powerball Ticket
Saturday night was a big lottery night as one lucky person is $1 million richer on a Powerball ticket they bought at a Palm Coast Publix at 250 Palm Coast Parkway Northeast.
According to WFLA, in Saturday night’s drawing, the 5 white balls that were pulled and matched the ticket were 12, 13, 34, 44, and 67. But the one number that was missing was 8, the Powerball number. While those 5 numbers won someone $1 million, the jackpot is now up to $184 million.
There’s another drawing tonight, 11/25, at 10:59pm, so it’s not too late to grab a ticket. And hopefully, for you, the winning one. Now that would be something on this Thanksgiving to be grateful for. Forget the 12 pound turkey this year, go with 24 pounds! Sure, you might not need a bird that big, but with many millions to spend, why not? You could feed the whole neighborhood! And talk about how the stress of the season would just melt away. That is, until your family finds out you’re the big winner, then things might get a little interesting. They’ll be finding out pretty quickly who the favorites are.
