Publix Chicken Tender Subs Are On Sale!

After seeing my cable bill go up exponentially I needed some good news. This on the heels of insurance going up. I needed this –  Publix Chicken Tender Subs are on sale! I get mine shaken, buffalo style. Absolutely delicious, but there’s a downside, too.

That’s right, the sale price is almost as much as the regular price just one year ago. I save these things, just for this reason. Here’s Chicken Tender sale post from last year:

That’s a 21% increase over the past year. Yow. I mean, I’m still excited to get that Pub Sub, but maybe not quite as much. Fortunately someone gave me a 2 dollar Florida Lottery scratch off for Christmas and I won 50 bucks.

Tonight it’s Publix Chicken Tender subs and sweet tea.

Maybe grab a Mega Millions ticket or two. Tonight’s jackpot is 785 million. If I win, I’ll buy the whole town Pub Subs.

Florida Is One Of The Best States For A Teacher

A study from Wallethub shows that Florida is one of the top spots to be if you’re a teacher. The last place you’d want to go to teach? Hawaii? According to the study the best place to be a teacher is in the state of New York. Maybe since so many people are leaving New York the class sizes are smaller? I kid. New York isn’t even in the top 5 of pupil/student ratio.

Here’s how Wallethub determined the rankings. “Teachers are more fairly compensated and better protected in some states than in others, though. The best states are less likely to face a revolving door of teacher turnover. To help America’s educators find the best opportunities and teaching environments, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on 24 key indicators of teacher-friendliness. Our data set ranges from teachers’ income growth potential to the pupil-teacher ratio to whether the state has a digital learning plan.”

So how do all of the states rank up against each other? Here’s the breakdown including the composite score as determined by the research. The “Best States For Teachers 2022”. Being a Florida teacher is one of the best places to be.
