Why Kendell Jenner Was Ready for Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner are seen at Gucci Ancora during Milan Fashion Week on September 22, 2023 in Milan, Italy.
Kendall Jenner is dating Bad Bunny. And it seems like the supermodel may have manifested this years ago. In a previous interview with Vogue, then-23-year-old Jenner told the publication that she wants to have kids at 28 or 29. Now that she recently celebrated her 28th birthday, the model wants to hold off a little bit longer. She told WSJ. Magazine, “I’m excited for that time in my life. I just know it’s not right now.” Elsewhere in the interview, Kendall discussed how she manages to live her life as private as possible.
“I try [to] find the balance of keeping things private and keeping things sacred, [and] also not letting the unfortunate frustration and stress of everyone trying to get in on it stop me from enjoying my side,” she told the publication. “I just think that that’s the healthier way of dealing with relationships anyway.” As we previously reported, Kendall dated NBA star Devin Booker for about two years before calling it quits at the end of 2022. A few months later, in February, Kendall and the “MONACO” artist were going on dates and making out in the club.
In a June cover story for Rolling Stone, Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said the only thing left to protect is his personal life. He added, “Today, everyone’s a paparazzi. We’re in the worst time, the worst moment for the privacy of other humans; not just artists, but human beings. Today, no one respects the privacy or life of anyone. There could be someone in line with, I don’t know, weird pants on or something, and someone is there filming them.”
Recently, Kendall told Harper’s Bazaar for its September cover story that she loves “really hard” and “without apology.” She further said, “I don’t like goodbyes, and I will fight to not have to say goodbye. I will always fight for relationships. I’ve been that way since I was little, although I was shy and sometimes very closed off. I don’t give up on anything. Some people aren’t willing to meet me at that level. But that’s okay. I’d rather do that than shut myself off to something and not give it a proper chance.”
Kendall Jenner: Her Most Alluring Looks of 2023
It is no surprise that Kendall Jenner, being a Kardashian and supermodel, has become a fashion icon. Kendall constantly updates her Instagram page with flicks of her best outfits, and we are here for it! The 818 Tequila founder began modeling at age 13 when Wilhelmina Models signed her in 2009. Jenner switched to homeschooling to pursue her modeling career. After numerous magazine covers and runway walks, she moved on to more high fashion work, signing with The Society Management in 2013. Under the agency, she booked Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, and Dolce & Gabbana in her first year. Kendall is five-foot-eleven inches tall.
In 2015, Kenny walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show along with other notable luxury fashion brands. She then made Forbes magazine’s 2015 list of top-earning models, ranking at number 16 with an estimated annual income of $4 million. Two years later, she was named the world’s highest-paid model by the publication, beating Gisele Bündchen, who held the title for more than 14 years since 2002. She was making $22 million at this point.
Trouble with Clothing Lines
Besides modeling, Kendall and her younger sister Kylie Jenner had their own line with PacSun in 2012. The Kendall & Kylie Collection moved to Topshop three years later. In June 2017, the sisters launched a controversial line of “vintage” T-shirts on their website for their brand, Kendall + Kylie. Retailing at $125, the “Rock vs. Rap” collection featured images of famous musicians or bands like Tupac Shakur, The Doors, Metallica, Pink Floyd, and The Notorious B.I.G.. After criticism from the public and several cease and desist letters from the estates of the musicians who were featured without permission, they pulled the shirts from their website and issued a joint apology. They met more heat in 2020 when reports of their clothing alleged factory workers in Bangladesh weren’t being paid due to the coronavirus pandemic.
