Fans Are Furious After The Weeknd’s Concert Gets Shut Down
Have you ever headed out to a concert you had planned to attend, only to find out it was canceled? Not a great way to start your weekend, right?
The Weeknd can relate. The singer was slated to perform at a concert venue in Los Angeles on Friday evening, however, the concert was shut down before The Weeknd was supposed to take the stage.
According to TMZ, the private concert was canceled after a visit from the local Fire Marshal. It appears as though the venue may not have had the proper permits needed to host the gathering.
The publication is also reporting that very little notice was given regarding the cancellation. In fact, many of the guests had already arrived by the time the email announcement was sent out — a half hour before the show.
