Fort Myers Angler Unexpectedly Hooks 400-Pound Bull Shark While Fishing
A young angler was caught by surprise when he reeled in a 400-pound Bull Shark recently in Fort Myers.
Eric Bristol, pictured reeling the shark in the video said, “sharks must be swimming more inland in the waters of Fort Myers and surrounding areas.”
Despite the many reports of decreasing shark attacks in Florida, from this angler’s perspective, “sharks are close to shore and without traveling too far out, we had unexpectedly realized we had entered shark territory.”
