Publix Will Start Offering Paid Parental Leave
Publix grocery stores are about to make things easier for employees with newborn children. This week, the company announced that it would offer paid parental leave for workers, during the first year of birth or adoption of a new child. The company has not specified how much paid time off will be available. The new policy goes into effect Jan. 1st. Publix employs roughly 225,000 workers in 1,300 stores across seven states.
