Lee Health Wellness Centers Launch Brain Booster Workshops
(Fort Myers, Fla. – Aug. 28, 2017) — Lee Health’s Wellness Center – Cape Coral is hosting Brain Booster workshops beginning on Sept. 11. The workshops will be held once a month, on the second Monday of the month from noon-1 p.m.
Brain Booster workshops help people of all ages learn more, retain information and maintain mental health. Using math and spelling activities and games, participants have fun and connect with others while working on their memory. Each month, the workshop is unique and different to challenge and engage participants.
In addition to the monthly program at the Wellness Center – Cape Coral, Sarah Mitchell, certified health & wellness coach and health & wellness coordinator at the Lee Health Wellness Centers will be offering the Brain Booster workshop in locations throughout the community. Upcoming dates, time and locations include:
- Sept. 27, Oct. 31, Nov. 7 and Dec. 5, 10 a.m., North Fort Myers Recreation Center, 2000 N. Recreation Park Way, North Fort Myers
- Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18, 10 a.m., Healthy Life Center at Coconut Point, 23190 Fashion Drive, Suite 105, Estero
Additionally, beginning Oct. 4, 11:30 a.m., there will be a four-week series at the Wellness Center – Fort Myers, 3114 Cleveland Ave.
